Study Visa

A study Permit is issued by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada that allows foreign nationals to receive education from a DLI (Designated Learning Institute) in Canada. The Study Permit visa also allows you to stay in Canada for the duration of your study program and, after it, if you are working. However, a Study Permit is not a visa and does not allow you entry into Canada. You will require a visitor visa or an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter Canada.
